peoples choice
I have posted twice recently on gripes and moans, so something more cheerfull. I watched the program last night, the peoples portrait, the subject was Simon Weston, and was chosen by the people on a vote in , his portrait was painted by an incredible female artist, who has painted the Royal family etc, and the portrait of Simon Weston now hangs in the national gallery. What an incredible guy he is, was a lovely sight to see him and his family, and his grandson, and as he said himself, he is a very happy man, despite his facial defects. Shortly after the portrait was finished he entered hospital ; yet again for another operation on his eyes, this some 30 odd years after the Falklands war. A truly enjoyable program, and a remarkable portrait. KT

Keith, That is what keeps me going when I get down with the disability that I have been dealt, It has never stopped me getting around I am always in high spirits and up for a laugh. As the old saying goes there is always someone worse off than you. Regards Terry.
