Chris Hulme - Convicted Criminal
I read in the paper yesterday the the criminal, Christopher Paul Hulme, self confessed perverter of the course of justice had a Crown Court hearing held in secret lasting 12 days at the cost to the public (US in other words) of £250,000.00p.,this was before he appeared at Southwark Crown Court and pleaded Guilty after being told by the trial Judge that evidence from his son would be allowed to be out to the jury. Does this mean that the multi millionair who owns seven properties in London and has a £3500.00p per month retainer from an enviromental company in Swansea for 8.5 hours work per month, was granted legal aid. If he was allowed legal aid it makes a further mockery of our Justice System.

Justice
Friends of ours on a State pension supplemented by a very very very small private pension (not even £3500 per annum, never mind per month) have just been refused Legal Aid, because their private pension took them into the first tax bracket.
Isn't the law wonderful

Chris Hulme-Convicted Criminal.
Not nit picking but the name is Huhne. It is no wonder people dont trust politicians this guy appeared in front of TV cameras on at least four occassions had had the neck to stir right into the camera and plead his innocence. He boasted he could not wait to get into court and prove his innocence. He is entitled to a severenc package of £70K. £17K for quitting the cabinet and £53K to wind up his office. He has cost the tax payer £100K in legal bills and has had to fork out £250K of his own money.
Regards.

It may well be MP testing time. Here in Oz we have a politician, ex Union heavyweight, up on 157 charges of fraud. Using union funds for his own pleasure. He of course declares he is innocent, but 157 charges, that is one hell of a lot to be not guilty of.

Happy daze John in Oz.
Life is too short to blend in.
