stena line have threatened to use crews from outside the EEC, if the British crewmen do not accept lower wages, a pay freeze extra hours, and job losses. This is on the Irish Sea runs,no doubt thy are trying to copy P and O, they were paying Filipinos just £1.43 an hour last year on the Irish Sea. I wonder if Bob Crow will get involved? Someone should! This was in the Daily Mirror today.
