Yes a pity everything was sold off, with the aid and connivance of the various Govts that ruled our sceptred isles. They should have had the attitude of the current South Korean Senate who are opposing the sale of HMM (Hyundai Merchant Marine) to Hapag Lloyd of Germany as they do not want foreigners owning a national asset.

The Southern Cross was the only liner I sailed on, as a passenger. Started a 65 years partnership with my wife, Great ship, great trip.
