An interesting trip this was,it was ports on the continent.
14/05/1960 to 01/06/1960,london,antwerp,rotterdam,bremen,hamburg,londo n.
no sooner had we arrived in antwerp,i came out in a rash of little red spots.
i was banished to a cabin on my own,i was not allowed to work,and
the whole ship was put in quaranteen.no one was allowed ashore
until they found out what i had.
we then went to rotterdam we i was sent ashore to see a doctor,and
given some pills and some cream.even now i do not know what caused it
the crew were happy when we got to bremen and hamburg because
they were allowed ashore
