Hi I was on that same course sep to dec 1963, I think I was probably the only englishman on that course and on the course photograph taken in our uniforms I am the short blonde haired kid in the centre of the back row. but my first trip was as a catering boy on the mv Buffalo of Coast lines, on the Liverpool/ Belfast run. I enjoyed being in catering and so my whole 5 years in the MN were in catering with me ending my sea going life on the old RMS Queen Elizabeth late on in 1968.
