Default The Duro out of Victora & Albert dock london

My first ship was the Duro out of the V&A dock london as a deck boy, we where bound for BA south america in 1969, bit of a long shot but anyone work the london docks?. There where a lot of star boats working that dock I would be clad to hear from anyone who was there in the late 60's.

The only thing I came back with was a dose of the clap and lots of good memories;I liked it so much i shipped out again and got the clap off the same girl in the same bar.

    Smile Wecome Aboard Frank.......

    .......to this truly great ship.
There are many of us of your age and 'era' here, and I've read various posts in these forums which mention V & A Dock.

Just a suggestion,mate.....why not list your ships under ' My Ships' and it's quite likely someone may know you.

    All the Best!

Thanks for the warm welcome guys it’s nice to know there are still some of us still alive and kicking as I often say it’s hard to keep a bad man down.
I did attend the merchant navy school at graves end and to my surprise I ended up making senior leading hand before they kicked me out into the real world, I have a group photo of my some of my mates for that year around one of the training hatches in the yard I’d like to post it for old time sake but don’t know where its best uploaded to any suggestions?
