signed on araby in london west indies run what a crew, highland men, welsh, cokneys , gordies and west indians and me. it turned out something was up when the mate said ,have got a certificate of sanity. been on subs in the war venazaler, curocoa ,dominacan republic. all over. a port in cuba loading sugar, one train a day dockers sat on top bags of sugar ,cut with knife and put in hatch. along side us hamburg america ship . foot ball match arranged the germans had all the kit we had nowt we were winning 2 nil at half time they had oranges we had bottle of rum lost 3 2 on way home all hell started, big fight highland man stabbed a west indian blood all over the place how the hell i got 2 vg s. we docked in Rotterdam flew us to london what trip never went on royal mail again
