Where to find CR10?

I was wondering if anyone would be able to point me in the direction of how to find a relatives record? I’ve tried findmypast and he isn’t popping up, he served up until 1945 roughly as he’s listed on the 1939 register as an excluded seaman.

His details: Thomas Cosgrove, born the 18th of August 1877 in Belfast, died the 29th of November 1958. He would’ve been a fireman onboard, I found a record I think might be him from 1924 serving on the Lord Downshire, the dis A number for that Thomas Cosgrove is 553395 but the only info for that Thomas is that he boarded that ship in Belfast in 1924 as a greaser.

I have done my usual search for him, but come up with no Records !
This was searching for a possible Seamans Pouch, but with him being Born so early, i dont think there would be such!
As you mention a CR10, i would suggest that you contact the Southampton Maritime Archives, who hold Original Records of many older Seaman.

They are as i know the ones that would hold any CR10 Files.
The other CRS10 Files are with the National Archives London.
