    Default James 'Jim' Gray

Hello! Thank you for letting me join this site!

I am doing some family research and I'm looking for James 'Jim' Gray. He was a doctor and I know he worked for Ellerman in London in the 1960's.

Any help with this would be gratefully appreciated.

    Kindest regards,

    Clodagh

Hi Marian. Thanks so much for replying. James was born in Co Offaly, Ireland 28.04.1910. I don't know where he died, possibly London. He was working for Ellerman in 1963 I know that for sure.

Hi Clodagh, Do you know if Jim was married and his wife's name. Have found four possibilities. Did Jim have a middle name and do you know where he graduated? Any snippet at all will be most helpful.

Okay Clodagh, have confirmed his middle name is Joseph and his father John, sister Elizabeth. taken from the 1911 census. Nothing else on FMP [Find my past] apart from the marriages I mentioned previously. Will check Ancestry, was he a Doctor with the Ellermans long term? Do you know the name of any of his ships?

Not 100% sure here but what i have seen is that he possibly died in Hammersmith London Area at age 55/56 in 1967 ?? As said not sure you may know if he was still Alive at that age!

Looks like Jim died in 1983 going by the only tree on Ancestry and it's well and truly locked It belongs to Clodagh
Think we may be in for the long haul.... Is there any other approach towards Ellerman's you can think of Doc? Probably quicker if Clodagh applies to the National Archives....Will give it another hour then sleep.

Hi Marian, I'm just wondering about the above date because James 'Jim' seems to disappear after 1965. Can you tell me where you saw it please? The 1983 death date is a total guess on our part.
