Re: Looking for Info on My Dad Robert Arthur Duff
Hello Veronica
That is so sad to loose all those things on your dear Dad.
As you have nothing left thee is to stay his Seamans Pouch which will have limited info on it,downloadle from the National Archives Kew.
You wiill also want his CRS10 which would hold a lot more info, such as Ships served on etc.
So as a start here is a Link to his Pouch I will later post his CRS10 link as well, hope this at least will help.
Cheers

The following is link to his CRS10 which as said will hold all his Seatime Carrer Docs.
Always if possible to get these in Person from the N A at Kew ,but you can try and request them online ,however have found that at most times it is somewhat difficult and costly. Free if you go in Person.

Re: Looking for Info on My Dad Robert Arthur Duff
Thank you so much for this information. I am so excited to begin this journey of discovery. It meant a lot to my mum just to see images of the ships he was on.
Thanks again!

Hello Veronica
Besides what i have posted there are also the Voyage Record Crads of the Ships he was on when you get that list, the Voyages are available from the Guildhall Library in London.
His Seamans Pouch may i think also have a cpoy of his Phot when he first Joined up,either that or on his CRS10 ??

Veronica, the Pipariki was one of three sister ships of New Zealand Shipping company.
The Papanui and Paparoa were the other two.
