video wont play

Hiya All...I tried to play some vids on this site but all I got was a blank screen,anyone else having probs or is my machine due for the knackers yard ?? News programs,Youtube etc.. are fine.

Depends on which Videos are not playing ,can you perhaps tell me which ones so I can look into it!
Sometimes depending on where you are in the World some wont play and you need a Converter!
But as said point the ones out so as I can have a look!

If News programs,Youtube etc.. are fine. the your Computer is not yet ready for the knackers Yard mate!

none of them will play...the whole lot of them....just a blank square with a tiny black circle in the top left corner....and I did so need a fix of Doxford '' music''.

This one plays fine,but it is a link from youtube and theres no problem there.

Check your Control Panel Jack and see if you have the Microsoft Silverlight installed!
If not get it installed now! See Link at Bottom!

Silverlight is installed,latest version,all add-ons are enabled (win 7 home premium) vids wont play on Facebook either,I keep getting the message....to download the latest version of ''flash''I,m kneedeep in ultimate versions of Adobe flash...the bin proposition is looming !!! Thanks for your efforts Vern.

I cast the runes Vern,and it came up with google chrome,and wouldnt you know it everything works,its not my favourite browser but beggars cant be choosers !!!
