Am I logged on or not??
A few days ago I had to restore my laptop to its original state using the recovery program built into it. I have not lost any of my files as I had back up copies.
The laptop is now clear of any possible infections and back to working at full speed
The thing is when I go onto this site on the laptop, Log in and read all the posts no problem but if I want to post a reply then I can type the message but when I hit the "post reply" button I get a message saying that I do not have permission to post replies and that I should refresh the page, log in again and then try posting my reply.
The thing is the menu bar across the top shows me as being logged in with my name appearing and I cannot understand why it thinks I am logged out.
Refreshing the page does not cure the problem.
As this only occurs on my laptop and only after I have done the restore I am thinking that is my firewall or something causing this problem?

I have stuck to Windows 7 and have not had any probs!
So possibly it is Windows 8.1 that is doing it !

Yes getting logged can be a problem, but I do recall when Oakley logged me he did so with a smile on his face.
