Seeking John Melvin Dobbin
We were at sea school in Plymouth together in 1961. John would have joined his first ship in early 1962.Had one letter from him then lost touch.Can anyone help please?

My son and daughter in law , who live in the Cayman Islands have sent me the BMN page with your enquiry regarding my whereabouts .....
So , having just registered as a member ..... here I am ......
Wow ... do you realise that it is exactly 50 years since we last met at Plymouth School of Navigation ... when I went off to Port Line and I think you to Shell ?
There's certainly a lot of water passed under our keels since then !
Anyway I retired to Spain 25 years ago together with my wife , Elizabeth , after having sailed here from South Africa where we had lived for 15 years before that .
Have realised that there is limited space on this thread so maybe you would contact me by email and we can catch up !
