Once again conflict in this great big wonderfull world. India and Pakistan which will of course bring China into, the argument as she shares a border also with India.
Mountbatten as Viceroy of India was instrumental in the division of the continent into a place for both the Musthaveone and the Hindu sects by division of the area into East and West Pakistani. This apparently was not enough . However once again the fireworks will start and put a show on for the rest of the worlds politicians to get their unwanted
Advice and in doing so supply more fuel to the conflagration by all media outlets with their rabble rousing advice in general and hey ho off we go. Cheers JS.

So many problems where others from overseas have attempted to create a nation that maybe was quite happy as it was.

    Look at Gaza and Israel.
Prior to 1948 Israel as we now know it did not exist, Churchill and a few others got together and bingo a new nation emerges!!!!

The,same with Hitler with the Ukraine ,was the cause of his unsuccessful invasion of Russia held him up long enough
for the winter to set in and like Napoleon before him was his downfall. The Ukraine before had been predominately
Russian Speaking and he couldn’t leave an unprotected back ,he also needed the factory lines of necessary goods
he needed for the war effort .,There has ever since been a bad feeling between Russia and what he still considers
    Russian terroristy.

    Hi John
So many ordinary people killed in wars created by so few, what a pity these warmongers were not born with a sign on their forehead so that they could have been put down at birth, thus saving millions of lives.

I look at the Gaza situation and Yemen.
Both have been attacked by Israel.

In each case Israel was attacked first saying on each occasion the 'Iron dome' was turned on..

I am sure Israel has a spy network second to none, how lucky were they that the dome was off.

They could hit back and not be accused of being the aggressor.
Now they claim to take over Gaza completely, is it my suspicious mind or is there nothing in it.

Isreal has far more rights to claim land in the M. E. than the Palestinians or any Arab nation for that matter.

The way I see it, anything goes after the oct 7 attack by Hamas. They set the rules that day by killing all those innocent people and taking the rest as hostages. They have shown the world how they consider their moral beliefs. Trouble is, they don't like it when others adopt them.
From what I remember learning at school, the Israelites were in that area thousands of years ago but were driven out by the ancestors of the likes of Hamas. (apologies if I've got that wrong, the old memory aint so good as it used to be.)
There used to be an old saying, "It is what it is". After the war, Israel was given back to the Jews, after millions of them were murdered by Jew hating people.

    Hi Johnny.
I don't know if you where around when the Jews where taking over where what is now Isreal, they where more vicious than anyone of that time 1947 and since. Our own British soldier's where there under the auspices of the United Nations, to prevent the huge influx of Jews, whether right or wrong. If you think the attack on Israel by Hamas was bad, you should read what the Jewish Stern gang and other illegal gangs did to the British Tommy, hanging them from lamppost's, they blew up the King David Hotel killing many innocent people, the place was a bloodbath for the ordinary British soldier.
I think they could have lived together but the Jews wanted Arab land, where some had families that had lived there for a thousand years and so it goes on.

When it comes down to heritage the Jewish faith goes back at least as far back as Solomon , and the wailing wall is part of the structure of King Solomon’s Temple the first structure being torn down by the Persians. Do believe the wall is part of the first structure but stand to be corrected The other faith lays claim to this today but that faith did not appear till many centuries later. Persia of old is now Iran. So hostility’s have been ongoing for some considerable time, today under the banner of religion which to some appears more feasible.i can remember the British government adverting in the late 40s advertising for what was/known as the Palestine Police, I don’t think it was too successful, unless desperate for a job.,Cheers JS..

    Hi John
I think the United Nations was once a great idea, is now just a name, no one takes any notice, resolutions are passed and then forgotten, a good idea used and now abused, other than sending food aid to Countries who are mainly in a civil war. A pity realy.
