SS Noongah
In August 1969, the A.N.L ship “Noongah” sank in a storm
off the N.S.W North Coast with the loss of 21 lives.
The exact location was not really known. Only one body was recovered.
Recently the ship’s location has been found.
Between Coffs Harbour and Port Macquarie.N.S.W.
Newcastle Herald Friday July 26th 2024.
