Childish or Not?
The EU in its infinite wisdom is contemplating banning British made TV and films as it is undermining EU Culture.
Some Scandinavian MP retorted does that mean we have to watch French comedy shows?

Re: Childish or Not?
Another little matter Parisians should never forget,
Dunkirk
When Britain declared war on Germany in 1939, Montgomery was sent to France with the British Expeditionary Force. He commanded the 3rd Division.
Predicting the operation would be a disaster, he trained for tactical retreat. This proved vital during the evacuation of Dunkirk in 1940.

Re: Childish or Not?
French comedy shows you must be kidding, what is funny about them, apart from being French.
And no doubt in French so no one can understand them.

Re: Childish or Not?
Lew, Best not upset the frogs, Macron who started out his working life as a banker not a politician and was a socialist in his early years.
On Nationalism { Quote }.............................In November 2018 he referred to nationalism as the "exact opposite" of patriotism, and a betrayal of it, characterizing nationalism as "who cares about others" This prompted criticism that his definition was wrong. Macron is accused by members of the Yellow vests of being an "ultra-liberal president for the rich. He will deliver those subs alright the sooner the French people see him for what he truly is and hang him out with the washing the better for everyone. Terry
