Today in the news, in 1912 the maritime act declared that if someone fell over the side of a ship and was seen to do so then the call of 'man over board' should be used to raise the alarm.

Now that is to be changed to 'Person over board' to the gratification of the anti gender brigade.

Of course it could be very difficult in some circumstances to pre determine the sexual orientation of the person going over the side.

It would be too much to say a GLBTIQ person has just gone over the side, by the time you got that mouthful out the ship would be well out of reach.

I often wonder how these people communicate, how do they describe someone if they will not use male and female?????
