Strange, but the direction this is taking reminds me of a time just after eight bells on a freezing night in late February 1950 coming up river to Bremen on the Port St John. The whole crew were summoned to attend a 'short arm' inspection and those who new the drill suggested getting wrapped up in a heavy blanket. We all queued up to what looked like a stormtrooper in uniform who commanded "I vant to zee". One by one we obliged and opened the snug blanket. The freezing air wafted around our nether regions as the "inspector" plied a wooden spatula to the now frigid little organ moving it up and down and from side to side, apparently looking for the tell tale signs of miss-adventure.
Rather than docking at Bremerhaven we went on to a severely bomb damaged Bremen - about the only original building that seemed undamaged was the green copper-roofed Rathaus just across from the pub we were in and the frauleins there who seemed to know we had all been recently inspected.

Here is another Good thread,
We start with Albatrosses go to New Zealand then into Doctor Ross`s in Liverpool for a jag then end up in a Brothel in Bremen Germany after a short arm inspection.
Fantastic. How do we do that?
Cheers
Brian.
