Port of Amsterdam- Rod McKuen
Jacque Brel's 'Port of Amsterdam' has been covered by many artists ,including David Bowie, Scott Walker, The Pogues and John Denver . Rod McKuen's version is a favourite of mine. This youtube version has some great pictures, really looking forward to my trip to The Netherlands this Autumn.

Glad that you liked the track-Cappy. Particularly appreciate the fact that Rod McKuen was friends with Jacques Brel and worked with him in translating his lyrics from French to English, so not your standard cover version by any means . Different English language versions of the song have changes to the lyrics, though song is solid enough to take different re-interpretations.
