Was going to post in 'Today's Smile'

ont tinternet from our special shipping correspondents

    (i) Chinese car manufacturer sends mega Tanker to flood UK with cut price cars, this is the fifth mega tanker built by the company, later described as a container ship, when in fact it is the dedicated car carrier" BYD Xi'an" capable of loading 9200 CEU (car equivalent units)

(ii) Residents of Hull have been told to keep their doors and windows shut as fire breaks out on Container Ship (later called boat GRRRR) when in fact it is a bulk carrier in Albert Dock Hull

At least every ship is not now a tanker, they have discovered a new word, container

Just been reading the same article Ivan, here is the Super tanker they will use. Also the one on fire in Hull.

There is a lad in my road who has one of these Chinese cars. Have had a look around it and it does look to be a well put together car/SUV . Time will tell.

His is mid range and it is over £40k, maybe I am out of touch but nothing cheap in the price. But we see more and more Chinese cars on UK roads everyday. Maybe if UK/EU cars were priced better people would show more Brand loyalty.

According to surveys some 35% of those who buy an EV sell it within 12 months and go back to ICE.

Talking with a London taxi driver last year, he told me about the EV graveyard up in north London.
They sell for peanuts as no one wants them, taxis now mainly Hybrid ones.

Lack of charging stations is one of the problems particularly in parts of London where terraced houses have no garage.
    Happy daze John in Oz.

    Hi John
Cunning Chinese flood Britain with cars that all break down at the same time rendering the roads impassible so they can invade. Hope Sir Kier kier doesn't red this, he might put a Trump tariff on them.

Des no need to have the breaking down of cars, but we Brits havev a cunning plan we have plenty of tank traps already in place, locals call them pot holes but those in the MOD know they are Tank Traps really.
Concerning the mororways, we have what they now call Smart Motorways. Basically there are these Gantry information boards telling you delays and conjestion ahead, nothing really Smart about stating the obvious M25 is a classic as is the M6. We even have a Toll road on the M6 this just means in rush hour you can pay £8.50 to move just as slowly as the M6 with no tolls. Who ever thought this one up !!!yes you can travel a bit quicker but then when you try and get back on the M6 there is a log jam and there you will sit for ages.
Think the Chinese will just give the UK a miss regards invading , they just bought the place anyway.
