My new book, help gratefully received
I’ve just sent this to a pal.
I’d be grateful for any help I receive.
Good to keep brain active👍
Hi John,
Holiday was good but glad to be back home.
I would love to read your book.
I’ve added below list of dad’s ships.
Perhaps not 100% accurate but not bad
My latest idea and one I’m probably going to stick with is :
Having a page for each ship dad was on RN and MN
That will be about 85
And write something interesting or funny or both about each one.
I’m also going to put some family photos in.
That are relevant to the family.
I’m not going to mention drink or my dad’s Wild Rover side of life.
I might mention briefly he enjoyed a drink in Salford but I’m not going to say what a bugger he was.
Your input will be invaluable.
I know only you and a very few people will be interested in what I do.
But it keeps my brain active and when I get into it I quite enjoy the journey.
If you could write something about each ship/journey/destination that would be incredible.
I’m out tonight but in tomorrow night for a chat
