Troubled Ferguson Shipbuilders
The recently nationalised shipbuilder is preparing to launch its first ship.
It looks like the HELEN KAllISTA was built undercover.

I thought you meant she was built in secret MI 5 an all that. When you think of all the yards and ships that were built in the UK!!Still good to see something still being built. I think we had the Sir David Attenborough anchored off shore here a couple of weeks ago.

Just read some more about the launch. She was launched in the traditional way way us wooden launching ways.
She was launched using inflatable airbags, and the launch took place over a period of time.
Its claimed that this is the first time that this launch method has been used in the UK.
