    Default mca medical

    Hi

I have served in the RN for 22 years and hoping to become an engineer in the merchant.
Colour blindness has never been a problem for me and never been picked up.
(i know from school that i was told i had slight colour blindness)
I had a check with my local Optician and failed the ishihara colour test she then carried out a city university colour test (a different book) and passed.

Does anyone know if the city university test is valid for MCA eng1 cert ?
Would a MCA doctor allow me to do the city university test ?

    Many Thanks
    A very worried engineer
