    Default The power of water

We all know as seamen the power of the sea, but the power cleaners of today are something again. The vid clip is using fresh water to clear rust from a ship, sure beats the old chipping hammers.
the same system is used in the fire service today, to drill through the brickwork from the outside of a building on fire, and the resulting steam introduced largely kills the fire, kt

There are so many machines and implements going back to earlier times that work of the simple principle that water is not compressible , the steering gear that most did their time on the wheel was worked by such, most knew it as the telemotor. JS.

Bit like an up market 'gerni' high pressure hose.
Most of the brickwork on newly built houses here ae cleaned by a similar machine, not quite as powerful though.
