Cruise companies
It's rumoured on the cruise trade press that Carnival is seeking to offload Cunard and Seabourn cruises.

Re: Cruise companies
They may well, but all the shipping companies within the Carnival group run as individual ones all responsible for their own profit.

Re: Cruise companies
Let's face it, how much will it cost to fumigate and diligently clean these monstrous floating hotels?.
The 'Dodo' became extinct through humanity.
These floating monstrotanies are on there way to becoming extinct as a result of the now dreaded natural disease Coronavirus.
It's hard to say this, but I think the days of Cruise Companies are numbered.

Re: Cruise companies
There has to be an element of trust in all things,
much of that has gone well by.
Any one that has a few bob are looking towards the stars next.
History shows much that was fairly private, became common.
The rich will always seek more and better.

Re: Cruise companies
Keel laid last week on cruise ship MSC World Europa 200,000grt, LNG powered, entering service 2022, with sister ships to enter service, 2023, 2024, 2025, and 2027 with an option on two more, seems someone has confidence in the future.

Unless a cure is found for Coronavirus, Cruise Companies and their Dinosaur ships are headed for extinction.
