PS Waverley
It has been announced that the iconic Waverley will be sailing on the Clyde next year (2020) followed by. tour if coastal sailings, south cost, Bristol Channel and the Thames amongst many others.
The appeal to raise £2.5 for repairs and boiler replacement was successful.
The boilers are being currently manufactured by Cochran's of Annan an will be completed by the end of February. They will then be transported to the Clyde for installation.
So we should see the old girl plying her trade next summer.

Re: PS Waverley
LOCAL NEWS THIS WAY TODAY.
Waverley paddle steamer Bristol Channel crossings return in 2020 after service was scrapped.
The paddle-steamer was pulled in 2019 because of essential maintenance.
“Work to remove the old boilers will start in January and we expect the full refit to around 4 months allowing Waverley to return to service for summer 2020”.
