This would make your eyes water
Apparently this is another vision of where we are going to go on future ships, what with this and automated ships, just imagine a collision, kt

Remember on the Clan Ranald, the pantry fridge sprung a leak, it was ammonia that was as the refrigerant, accommodation stunk for days and yes your eyes watered.

Messroom fridge in my case, messman said "it stopped working when I was defrosting it, I think it was a lump of frozen pop cos it made a hissing sound". I was looking at some large gashes in the freezer compartment when I said what did you use? this he said, producing a very large knife. Nothing I can do here, I said, and left smartish. An hour later he was on the flying bridge waving the knife around and stopping anyone walking on flying bridge. Discharged in Curacao, assisted by men in white suits.

Currently there are so many new concepts of power source going around it is hard to keep up with it all.
But in the end I think such as electric cars, Ammonia powered ships and all the other kinds are just a stop gap.
The future lies in hydrogen power, clean and renewable.

Happy daze John in Oz.
