Peabut Run Ashore 2019
Peanut Run Ashore On the 12th May 2018 the first ever Peanut Run Ashore was held at the Number 1 Pub in Cleethorpes. The name Peanut comes from the MN (Monkey Nut) initials which were worn on the uniforms of NSTS trainees. Three RNLI crew popped in for a bevvy and we raised £108 in their collection boxes. We had an amazing day, which included a fantastic buffet and lots of Lantern Swinging. Next year the event will be open to any and all Seamen who served in the British Merchant Navy. None of us who attended knew each other but within a very short time it didn't matter. We were all seamen and what do Seamen do? … We get along with each other.
So lads, put this date in your diaries. Saturday 11th May 2019. The event will be at the Number 1 Pub again which is easy to get to, surrounded by cheap B&B's, serves great food and the beer is very cheap. If you wish to attend, please send me an email. eamager@hotmail.co.uk Wives are welcome
Anyone recognise anyone ??????
With sincere thanks to the Pulse Magazine.

Re: Peabut Run Ashore 2019
Looks like a good run ashore, but unfortunately my run ashore days are restricted due to mobility problems, and its not because of the FALLING DOWN JUICE. Rgds Denis
