We were the best {not the cheapest}
Hi Bill Hi shipmates, I dont' have any tattoes' and am not fat !!! in my days at sea very few people were fat {Bad feeders} were the probelm but not on B.P. or a few others? But cheap labour ? 4 third world seaman for the price of one British seaman. and cheap tax for the shipowners, Thats was the real reason what sunk the british the oldest merchant navy.

They are obviously not on their Pound and Pint today, Merchant Shipping Act 1894. 6ozs of fresh offal and six ozs of brackish water, per man , per day, perhaps. that kept us nice and slim, lean and mean.
The man who said all that is also FAT .
Stena Line are a tax dodging Company and should not be allowed to trade in the UK, THEY EARN MILLIONS AND DO NOT PAY A PENNY TAX ON THEIR PROFFITS.
CABOTAGE LAWS SHOULD BE APPLIED,
