fuel for thought
tuning into RT tv channel this morning, an item about the present cheapness of oil, in some middle eastern refineries it is costing more to store the oil than produce, some of it is being given away. Also, the charges to navigate the Suez Canal are that high, ships are finding it economically viable to use the longer Cape route. (George Robey &co will be out of work soon).

Not only tankers are using the route, container vessels from the Far East are now rerouting to avoid the Panama Canal as well, so I guess we will be seeing a major conflict somewhere soon to drive the price of oil back up again so that there is no chance of living in peace and harmony, ah well if it wasn't oil or religion, it would be something else

Big meeting next moth between some of the big producers to see if they can cut supply to increase price. Bet your life they will at the current price they will go bust if it lasts much longer.
