    Default Red Ensign

When ever I go out I always have my Merchant Navy badge on display,
I look for as yet I have never seen any one else wearing one.
So come on lads get your badge out of the display cabinet and fly your colours.

I always wear my MN Veterans Badge, it winds up the Thingies when I am shopping.
An SAS man told me to wear it with pride , so since then I have it on continuously.
So far three comments from ex Army men. It is more distinguished than the Army one with the Red Ensign back ground.
I also wear it on cruise ships on my Dinner Suit. That has also brought in some comments from passengers.
    Cheers

I have five different coloured t-shirts, all with the red ensign on with the MN badge in the fly, and also my baseball cap with lots of badges of ships and shipping companies plus my silver MN badge and veterans badge, I get lots of people asking about them, quite a few who don't know what MN stands for

I have an MN Fridge Magnet on my fridge door.
I think I 'd probably get a few strange looks from people whilst carrying my fridge through the shopping mall, what say?.....Happy.gif

That's easy, Gulliver, glue one on to your portable Esky. I don't often wear a jacket these days but proudly have the MN sticker on my car windshield and it is obvious to all sidewalk passers by.

    Hi All.
Unfortunately like Richard I no longer wear a jacket, but I have a sticker on my car kindly sent to me by Alf. I doubt anyone down here has ever seen a ship other than on TV.

Des, some time ago something similar popped up on here, working offshore here in Oz, used to order Red Ensigns (Oz. Version). Were never available think all the yachties must buy up. Used to send the Australian Flag ( Blue) and used to fly that. The next time your around the docks see how many Red Australian ensigns you can spot, most will be the Blue national flag. I have on several occasions been asked about the Stickers on my Car,and its good to tell people what it all stands for!
Always very proud to display these things! Various others too!
Will have to take a Pic of the ones on the Car!
