Please note the spelling of your 'Beachwood ‘ should be BEECHWOOD.

Just one query: I noticed there was an earlier 1945-built tanker BEECHWOOD.owned by the same company,John Jacobs.It’s Official No. was 180616.It was converted to a cargo vessel in 1955 and sold to Panamanians. Maybe if you had the stamp in your Discharge Book you would know which Beechwood you sailed in.
Unfortunately I cannot find a photo of this earlier one just mentioned but will keep looking.

Had a look at the Jacobs ships pics. you sent to a member. They are way before my time. I was a few years in John I. Jacobs. The Beechwood in my time was an ore carrier, and the Laurelwood a bit more modern tanker than your picture. Cheers John Sabourn
