a bit o rough
That pic reminds me of when we came back from Mina al Ahmadi on the Kent federal tanker . Going through the bay of biscay we had one of the companionway steps ripped up and completely twisted round, this was on its maiden voyage. We thought it was very exciting as I always liked rough weather young & foolish that I was then. Mind you I still like rough weather on cross channel ferries, not so boring! Cheers

Spent many months on the Western Ocean during winter going through seas like that John. Brought back many memories. I doubt if the youngsters of today could last a couple of hours in heavy weather never mind days.
