I thought that a personal message was just that.How come if I log onto somebodys profile I can read his personal messages,how can they be personal.
If I wish to send somebody a message that is for them and not for the world and his dog to read.Please put me right on this,I may as well just post it on the general site if it can be read anyway.

Are we talking about a Visitors Message or a Private Message!?
The Visitors messages can be seen by anyone on their Profiles,the Private Messages cannot!

There is another way of making sure your personal message is not seen on site and it is called Email. I am still of the oppinion that PM's are another way of back stabbing fellow members and never been in favour of them myself. Always thought that belonging to a site like this was supposed to be similar to being on board and everyone shared their views with everyone else so that there was no ganging up on one particular member without them knowing about it and being able to defend themselves.

Vernon,recieved your message,I hold my hand out.I was not aware that there were two types of messages until you have just explained this.All that I knew was that if I checked out someones profile i could see all messages sent to them,I did not read them as i thought they were private and not my business.Having said all that why should any messages be in the public domain,you call these visitors messages ,whats the difference to a P.M.?
