Gaddafi again
Have just read an article on page 25 of the "West Australian" (newspaper) today the 23rd. April 2012. Title British Spy service in plot with Gaddafi to stop terror. One paragrah in this eye opener caught my eye " Four months later the Dictator and Tony Blair, then British Prime Minister, struck the 2004 Deal in the Desert which ended Libyas Pariah status". I wonder which party broke this agreement. I suppose we will get the truth in about a hundred years time. Something along the lines of the so called Re. enquiry of the Titanic. John Sabourn.

A very rich Tony
Blair was supposodly the instigator of bringing Libya and Gadaffi in from the cold, after him been made a pariah by the Yanks.
There is a famous meeting in the desert where Blair cosied up to Gaddafi in return for cheap oil and supposodly UK exports to Libya.
Another of Tony's dealings, never mind that Gaddafi was a ruthless dictator our Tone would do business with anyone so long as it made him look good at the time.
50 yrs on from now when all the Parliamentary papers of the Blair era are released it will be interesting to see just how big a turncoat he was(is).

our good friend?
Hi shipmates Col Gaddafi was a friend to anyone who was in his pocket western/or arab He was the biggest drug dealer in the world he made countless millions? Where are his bank accounts? the drugs were factory made and had his royal stamp on ever block exported to every country world -wide for years What I dont understand is why the west turned on him? I was in Libya on a few ships oil and cargo no trouble there then? Tony Blair would take money off anyone , he was not a turn coat just a very greedy man who took bribes to buy loads of property and investments his son was a probelm, in the U.K. drugs e.t.c but now in U.S.A. in top school thanks to favours from his U.S.A. friends. The Col was a ruthless dictator, but business is business. P.S I knew someone in his army {officer} living in the U.K. on full pension £500 basic a week and all bills payed ,his very large house had a swimming pool and staff all paid by Col Gaddafi his picture was on wall in the lounge with himself.
