    Post Ships Positions.

I was watching 'Treasure Quest' on the Discovery channel this morning. (It's well worth an hours TV' and it mentioned a site available on the Internet called AIS which shows the live positions of ships thoughtout the world.
Because of the work carried out by that ship, ie. underwater salvage and treasure hunting, he was dead against the site being allowed on. I disagree.
Anyway I logged into the site and wow.
It shows the position of all ships as sea, there type, name, speed and direction.
If anyone doesn't know of it just go to Google and log in:-

    Hi John

Think I may have posted this before but it is easy to miss things. To post a web link do the following:

    1. Visit the site you are interested in.
    2. Highlight the exact details in the browser address bar: In this case: " http://www.marinetraffic.com/ais/"
    3. To insert into your posting choose and type a word or words such as MARINE TRAFFIC
    4. Highlight MARINE TRAFFIC.
5.Make it Bold and Underline plus recolour text if you desire
6 Find the button above (below the smilie face) click on it and paste your web site address from #2
7.Before posting it is always worth doing a post preview to ensure your Hyperlink works.

So in this case your hyperlink would look something like this: MARINE TRAFFIC

It's not only them that don't like them neither do people sailing on ships near to the waters off Africa where there are pirates as it can be used to find out what ships/targets are in the area.
