Re: Banks
Banks, love them or hate them we are stuck with them.
But slowly we are losing branches, not from trees, but with them closing.
Not enough business in small towns, so do it on line or you are stuffed.
Think Des was complaining about this a week or so ago, but for Cappy no worries there mate, he has no money, well not his anyway.

Re: Banks
There is a guy in Burnley Lancashire , Dave Fishwick decided to start his own not for profit bank. All profits are shared within the community. There was recently a Channel 4 documentary about Dave Fiswick and the dirty tricks the Banking authorities to try and stop him.

There is also a Netflix film about him.
Well worth a watch and does give a bit of an insight into the Shady dealings that big banks get up to.

Re: Banks
There are many sus banks around the world, but in most instances the big ones are OK.
USA appears to have the most problems with them.
