When my wife and i first arrived in Hungary i became a millionaire. There were approximately 200 Hungarian Forints to the dollar. Therefore if you had 5000 Australian dollars in the bank you were worth I,000,000 Forints, and a millionaire.
The feeling didn't last !!!
Another shock was coming back to England and realising how poor i really was.

Not quite as much! But when i have been home to Cape Town, all the Relatives that are left there and a very few Friends always comment how much Money i have , LOL Because the Rand is about 10 Rand to the Dollar! As i normally get there with about $2000 .= 20,000 Rand Wow!!
