My ships with Denholms.
Had the pleasure of working for Denholms from August 1975 untill November 1978 as Third Mate.
Served on :
MV Scotspark
GTV Eurofreighter
MV Burmah Peridot
MV Chemical Explorer
GTV Euroliner
GTV Eurofreighter.
Its good to see so many ex Denholms men still keeping in touch after all these years
brings back many happy memories reading the different stories posted.
Cheers Laurie.

Laurie. I sailed on the Peridot and did the first dry dock in Japan, I was forth engineer and really cannot remember many of the names of the time, One of the deck cadets was Ian Main who came from Carstairs I do remember how great it felt just having come from the Burmah Cameo where even at 21 found the going tough, maybe that was because I was 21 and did'nt realise that you needed to sleep sometimes.
All the best.
George Laird.
