Get well soon Keith.
Keith.
It has been estimated that there are about 2 million illegal migrants in UK. If this is true then they alone woul dput a severe strain on your NHS.
When Britex is enacted and you are free of EU will the gov of the day be able to deport such persons?
john we should make every effort to clear out this country. instead of getting in other lands problems we have enough on our own doorstep there are millions in this country that should not be here its our own fault for letting it get out of control ?jailed rapists murderers pick pockets scam artists you name it we have got them but until we grow a pair and get shut of all the dross here we have only ourselves to blame? we the peaceful british born have human rights as well but who cares we have opened a Pandora's box but laws cant make us shut the lid we are in a sorry state.. Monday morning moan over..:p jp
keith I am well over the {am I going to die today} feelings to those of us that never seem to be away from hospitals clinics doctors just make every day count for something I exercise every morning up two three down two three {then the other sock} slow and easy you never here of a tortoise dying young. enjoy life its short enough get well soon mate.. jp
I see in today's news that at last non EU citizens are to be charged for treatment on the NHS, apparently the bill for treatment for those people amounted to approx 4 million last year. Whilst that is good news, it hardly scratches the 23 million costs to the NHS to provide interpreters, kt
The UK has a reciprocal arrangements with countries of the EU. We treat their countrymen / women if they fall ill whilst in the UK,we bill their Governments for treatment. The same happens if UK people fall ill in a Euro country. Trouble is we pay, and EURo countries do not pay the full amount owed.
Euro countries owe the NHS hundreds of millions of £'s and no one seems to be bothered in collecting.
Regards
Vic
Alas Vic, there was a representative of the NHS management on TV this morning, who whilst stating it was a good idea, they don't have the staff to administer such a system and would have to create new managers, so a manager will an assistant, the assisant will require a filing clerk, they will require offices, which will require servicing and cleaning and a whole host of hidden costs, I thought they were already down by the head with managerial staff who need things to do.
