On Line Grocery Orders
Hi everyone - well I have just gone through 48hrs of utter worry. My wife and I are in isolation and totally reliant on Supermarket Home Deliveries. I managed to get a delivery slot on Monday afternoon in the middle of April with Asda which we can just about reach without running out of food and necessities. We then composed our order and went to Checkout to confirm the order. To our horror, the Asda Website refused our Debit Card. I then lost the delivery slot as it expired whilst I was desperately trying to get it to accept my card. This has continued for 48hrs with me making uncountable efforts to checkout, to confirm my order. I even got up at 5am this morning to try and beat the crowds which were crashing the website. Each time I got a slot, it timed out because my Debit Card was getting refused. I checked with my Bank and they said that my Card was fine and that it must be an error on the Asda Website .
Finally this evening, whilst searching the web, I came across people who had been experiencing exactly the same as me and a remarkable reply from someone who I will be eternally grateful for and who said, " do not use Chrome on the Asda site because it bins your card, use Microsoft Edge which is OK. I use Chrome so I immediately went over to Microsoft Edge and it immediately checked me out and confirmed my Grocery Order with Asda. Wow after 48hrs of worry and upset it was sorted, am I relieved and so grateful to the very kind guy who recommended this.
So, if you are having problems with ordering your home delivering service and getting your card refused, please consider that it might be your browser which is causing the problem and try another browser, I did finally and it worked. Hallelujah, one very relieved Chris.

Did the early morning stunt twice last week and got a few bits but no Dunny rolls.
Normal mid week shop, got most but still no Dunny rolls.
Then Sunday morning tried again at Wollies and bingo, got a pack of ten.
Then later in the day up at a country store about 35 Klm away got two packs of 20, I got one, she went in and got one.
Yesterday go for weekly shop, got it all but still no Dunny rolls.

HI Victoria.
Thought we had it made, our little organic store just sent me the weeks arrivals, I was stunned, Beans $21 a kilo Capsicum $25 a kilo and so on I feel they may have made a mistake, if not chop, chop.

Re: On Line Grocery Orders
Des mate we are being ripped off just now with vegetables.
I never use the supermarket for that, I use a greengrocer.
But he is conning all with prices, simple increases such as $1 on onions since last week,$2.50 on a cabbage.
Fruit prices not so bad, but no doubt if this continues how lomng before thye go up as well?

Re: On Line Grocery Orders
I read today that the UK government is to use their data base to inform the supermarkets of the list of most vulnerable people, so they can be prioritised for online shopping. I never thought the 1 hour slot to allow the elderly and vulnerable to shop was a good idea, one infection, and its right among those you are trying to protect. But as we go along things will start to pan out i think, kt

Re: On Line Grocery Orders
Any one really stuck, pos Morrisons could help with at least
getting some stuff to you. They just have launched a new
initiative of special food boxes, aimed at getting foods to
people who are struggling to place orders online.
