###i am at in loss in this country of free speech about the lack of news on the stabbings etc in london which are mainly black on black.....a black man on telly this morning was the ist person to bring this to the fore .....he ses the government is not interested because they are black people who are killing black people.....well there is an answer to this but to repeat it would put me in jeapordy of a racalist comment ...that is if i havnt done that already ....the man who made this comment had served a lifer for a stabbing murder......perhaps the labour home secratery would be better parading the black area s of london ...with her enrtourage rather than going on about a few of the windrush generation who it appears did not fill in some reqired forms....the mayor of london may also make some comment and take action on this desperate situation as it is growing like topsy daily........cappy

To my mind these stabbings are linked to gangs and often the gangs are linked to drugs I think the only way to deal with it is to clamp down hard on the drug dealers and the drug runners and just make life very very tough for them I'm sure that our trial will have something to say on this subject

The shootings and stabbings in London are indeed a terrible thing. It appears to be related to gang culture, something that seems to have been imported from the USA along with gangster rap music, the lyrics of which seem to glorify violence. Locals say it is because the youth in those areas have lost hope, no jobs, poor education etc. and a rampant drug culture.
B.S. I say, it's down to poor parenting and political correctness, a good whack around the lug ole when they were young along with banning of social media, gangster rap and baseball caps been worn backwards would go a long way to reducing the violence along with the ability to string a sentence together in English without having to use the F word or text speak.
Bring back the birch and hanging I say.

Same could be said about a lot of regional accents. It is not just a UK problem it is world wide. Still I would imagine Donald Trump will be happy now that at least someone actually used a gun in London at the weekend instead of knives knives knives when he was addressing the members of the NRA late last week was it?

More false news , according to the stats there was 35 stabbings in the UK in 2017, none were recorded in Glasgow.

Different times, always had a pen knife as a kid, generally - to make bow and arrows etc.

We knew early on, the knife was never to be pulled on someone as the bow and arrow was
never be pointed at anyone.

Mastered the air rifle at Air Scouts, never walked about with a loaded gun,
even in anger never pointed it in the direction of anyone.

Though I did later get shot myself.

Boxing and after Karate were for sport and only used in competition or defence.

We as a nation have gone to soft on crime and the cause of crime. The Liberal sandal wearing brigade have diluted all punishments, its time to make punishment fit the crime.
I have posted this before, no apologies for posting again.
The Gorbals in Glasgow was a real tough environment, gangs running riot, slashing each other with razors.
The Sheriff's gave lenient sentences which had no effect.
A Sheriff from Edinburgh was drafted in the local yobs, thought that they were on to a good thing, the first to be sentenced wee given seven years. The Sheriff single handedly reduced crime by passing out tough sentences.
Todays sentences, a life sentence for Murder, 10 years out on Licence in 5.

Apparently an Oxford gun battle now ? Armed police are said to have opened fire on gunman who shot at them from a house and are now locked in a siege close to the city's castle and university colleges.
