    Default Fed-up with the tweets.

There is no chance that you possible understand the day-to-day turmoil President Trump is evoking on a DAILY basis here in the U.S., if so British, Australian, New Zealand's domestic news would be incorporated into the sports page. Each morning my wife and I like our coffee watching the news. Each bloody morning it's further agitation. Following are a list of the past week's offerings:

NBC TV announced that sources within the White House state that at a Cabinet meeting in July, President Trump said he wanted the U.S. stockpile of "Nukes" to be increased tenfold. Upon leaving the meeting Secretary of State Tillerson, stated to others that "He is a moron". Denied by both parties. NBC stands by its report. President Trump tweets about possible denial of NBC annual renewal of its broadcasting license. (There is a First Amendment that protects against this plus he doesn't have the authority to deny it).

Two days later the President stated that his IQ results were much higher than Sec. Tillerson, inflaming the issue further. However, like his tax returns, statement of net worth, and his own IQ results, all are self stated and have never publicly been examined or proven.

In between those two days our president called the "sport jocks" who took a knee during the pregame playing of the national anthem "Sons of bitches who should be fired." It is our CUSTOM not a law that one stands to attention and places the right hand over the heart during the rendition. I personally subscribe to this custom and view it as a privilege, but it is not a law. If one could loose their job over this, surely a singer who warbles, trills or screeches their interpretation of our national anthem should also be fired for disrespecting the national anthem. The next he added more tweets and fanned the flames further.

He hinted strongly that he is going to claim that Iran is not complying with the terms of the Iran Nuclear Arms agreement and is considering reintroducing sanctions towards Iran, though the UN Commission, other countries involved with the pact, Congress, including many right-wing republicans agree that Iran has.

Senator Corker of Tennessee and Republican Chairman of the influential Foreign Relations Committee told the NY Times that "President Trump could start WW III." this led to a fury of tweets calling the Senator "Liddle Bob" (because of his height) and coward for not running for reelection.

Senator Corker replied that "The White House has turned into an Adult daycare center."

Try passing legislation with a pissed-off sitting chairman Mr. President comes to mind.

A little more than a week ago the President visited Puerto Rico (P.R.) to see first hand the hurricane calamity and promised help from the government agency FEMA (Federal Emergency Management Agency) and military assistance to unblock the airport and harbors and to temporarily revoke the "Jones Act" re. foreign shipping between US ports. He further stated that "We would be with you forever. We will be there all the time to take care of P.R. . We will be with you to help P.R. recover, restart and resume." Cheers and flag waiving etc. Fine, no problem. Today's tweet stated that P.R. should not expect perpetual aide forever. To date P.R.'s grid is totally destroyed. Only sixteen percent have electric power. P.R. though a territory and not a state has all the rights a state has and P.Rs. are citizens of the USA. The only difference is they cannot vote, therefore, they have no representative in Congress. If this was said to Texans, Floridians. and other hurricane or natural disaster states effected, all hell would break loose and yet we can send financial aid all over the world, scattering tax dollars like a mad dogs poop!

Newspaper exposed that his Secretaries (Cabinet Officers) have been using private planes to travel on government and personal business to the tune of millions of dollars. One secretary spent $75,000 on one flight alone (among many flights, and has resigned. One tried to get a private plane to take he and his wife to Europe on their honeymoon (changed his mind at the last minute), but took one for him and his wife to attend a meeting where coincidentally it was also the best place in the country to observe the total eclipse, which they did. Another last week had a private plane take him on a hundred and seventy mile trip to a meeting that cost the tax payer $25,000.00 versus $370 government business rate on commercial airline. Still why should they worry? After all their boss has spent more on his weekly visits to his golf clubs of a weekend than President Obama did in the EIGHT YEARS he was in office—part of todays news—yet in the election candidate Trump routinely criticized President Obama's travel expenses, also in todays news.

The Presidents long time crony and one time (until fired) self-claimed ultra-right advisor Mr. Bannon of Brightbart News gives a thirty percent chance that the President will complete his term.

Whitehouse sources have told the Washington Post that the W.H. is in turmoil and the president is screaming and having tantrums.

That is how we have spent our morning coffee break starters this week.

Which brings me to my conclusion: There is a provision in our constitution that considers the removal of a sitting president. It is within the XXV Amendment to the Constitution I will attach a link that will explain it fully. I will give you a short synopsis. If you wish to study it further just google XXV amendment to US constitution and you will have heaps more.

The Vice President with a simple majority of the cabinet could send a written notification to the President Pro Tempore of the Senate that "The President is unable to discharge the powers and the duties of the office." and the V.P. immediately assumes duties as Acting President. Upon receipt of a denial by the President the V.P. has four days to restate his/her application and then Congress must assembly, vote and the motion before the House must be approve by a two third majority. Depending on the outcome of the vote either the V.P. becomes Acting President with full powers or the President is returned to office.

    https://www.law.cornell.edu/constitution/amendmentxxv

Currently the president enjoys a thirty-six percent approval rating and sixty-four percent disapproval rating.

    Thanks for that bit Rodders.

Here is a clasic example of the Media having a field day.
Yes Trump does come out with some outrageous comments, most of which I consider to be of no value and in many instances not the truth, but the media love them.

We had Tillertson interviewed here on Oz TV the other week, he had nothing but praise for trump, even if in the yes of many misplaced, saying that Trump is the most patriotic president he has ever known.

He also went on to say how much has been achieved by this presidency mainly by the day to day activities of Pence who as he tells it does all the hard work.

To read your comments, from someone at the coal face, is refreshing and puts another slant on it all.
    Happy daze John in Oz.

And what pray tell you ask awaited me this morning as I took my first nibble on a cookie and sip of coffee?
    President Trump!

Yesterday he signed an "Executive Order" To end "Cost-Sharing reduction payments."

What does this mean and who does it effects?

Primarily it effects those who are termed the working poor. Under "Obama care", everyone had to have medical insurance otherwise there was a fine payable when you paid your Federal Income Tax. Those who had coverage through their employment—accounted for 40% of the population. Those over the age of 65 and covered by Medicare (elderly national medical program)30%, and those unable to work due to health problems etc. leaving the rest to have to purchase medical insurance, either on the open market or choose one of three programs that the government had arranged with interested Insurance companies. Further, those who earn below $16,000 p.a. or $24,350 p.a. for a family of 2 received coverage for free to them and the negotiated premium was paid directly to the Insurance company. A sliding scale from this point to $52,000 per family in earnings again was paid out in "Cost-Sharing Reduction" ending at $52,000.

This "Cost Sharing Reduction" a key component of Obama care was terminated yesterday effective immediately.

The monthly cost of medical insurance has dramatically increased or been eliminated for the "working poor" and become way too expensive for those families with income under $52k p.a. Usually it is two or more wage earners in a family who fall into these categories. The initial number effected of the number of Americans who lost their medical coverage this morning are expected to be six million.

    Can't wait for tomorrow's coffee....like hell!

P.s. during the campaign candidate Trump roundly condemned President Obama for using "Executive Orders" because "He can't pass legislation." At this time in his administration Pres. Obama had signed 25. Yesterday's Executive Order was President Trump's 50th.

    P.p.s.

Cost of this program $5billion p.a.. Annual foreign aid $35billion.

    Johnno,

According to our news services, T.V., print, Radio. The White House is so riddle with discontent it is leaking information like a sieve. W.H. sources say that Secretary of State Tillerson wants to complete a year as Secretary, then he is out of there. We'll see if he quits in Febuary or not.

The following either quit or were fired:

Steve Bannon Chief Strategist; Sean Spicer Press Secretary, Anthony Scarramucci Communications Director, Reince Prebals Chief of Staff; Tom Price Secretary of State, Sebastian Gorka Deputy Assistant, Mike Dubka W.H. Communications Director, James Comey Director FBI, Mike Flynn National Security Advisor; Sally Yates Acting Attorney General, and eight others of similar top government levels.

According to multiple leaks not a happy ship.

Rodney, really feel for you having to start your day listening to that tripe. at least we only get a smaller dose of the news you get. But have to agree starting to get sickening, will he one day have a senior moment and fire his son, daughter and son in law. Question, do we know how much these three are costing the US tax payer.
    regards, stan

    Hi Rod.
When Trump was elected which I predicted, not that I agreed, but would Clinton have been any better?
The TV news out here for the first six months was all Trump this and Trump that until I'm sure they realized that no one was watching the news anymore, over the last couple of months it is on again only because of North Korea.
If only the power would go off on his Twitter account it may save the US many headaches, with those terrible fires in California, with many many more houses burnt out than in Australia's black Friday, and after the Hurricanes surely he has enough on his plate without going golfing .
    Cheers Des

Question posed to Hillary Clinton on the BBC tonight regarding Trump:

Alex Jones: Did you ever consider the possibility, Hillary, that he may be the right man for the job?

Hillary Clinton: *tiny pause, shakes head with a slight smile* Nooo I don't think so..

    Rodders, thanks for that.
It would appear that private medical insurance is under fire in a number of countries.
here in Oz the gov has just released a plan for the new age private cover.
The present system is riddled with problems and blow out costs. Out of pocket expense, or the 'gap' as it is called can be more for one op than you pay in a year in subscriptions.
An example, both I and a mate of mine had Prostate surgery, his private mine in the public as was the case with my brother the next year.
His 'gap' payments amounted to over $3,000 and that on top cover. Mine $47, my brother as he is still working $90.
The new system will bring many of these costs into line so that the 'gap' will be at a reasonable level.

As for our Donald, not sure where to next, but notice all quiet just now in NK.
    Happy daze John in Oz.
