A Liverpool Ship owner in 1885, was not happy that his ships were held up every weekend because Sailors didn't like to sail on a Friday. Unlucky.

and Named S.S. FRIDAY.
They even found a Captain by the name of Captain Friday.
The ship was loaded on a Friday
and then she sailed on a Friday, bound for New York.
Captain Friday , his crew and his ship the S.S. FRIDAY were Never seen again.
I was born in No 13 Mineral St Belfast. A few years ago I took my son and his wife to show them the house I was born in. I should have went a week earlier as the place had been knocked down for a new developement, still I have a brick from it as the front door step was still in place so picked one up.

on some of mine we had 6ozs of offal and 6ozs of brackish water, per day, per man, per haps.
The only fresh meat were the cockroaches, Pound for pound, more protein in than Steak. So not too bad.
