Most will remember the death of Rhys Jones the 10 year old Everton fan killed on his way home from football practice, August 2007. At 21:00 tonight ITV starts a new 4 part drama serial about the killing and the following
police investigation that eventually nailed the lowlife that shot Rhys, "Little boy blue".

You're right there John, Mercer was given 22 years so 10 years on and he will probably be out soon to get on with whatever
he wants to do after ruining so many peoples lives. It reminds me of another 16 year old that got hold of a gun, Christopher
Craig shot and killed PC Miles in 1952, his mate Derek Bentley 19 was hung for Craig's crime, Craig was released in 1963
two people died because of him but at 26 years old he was a free to live his life, to my mind 10 years was not nearly enough.
