So... early morning, unable to sleep, too much rum...
Why does the fridge have a light in it but the freezer doesn't?

Whist we're on inponderables why does the Ch Executive of NHS Southern Health resign her £200,000 a year job because by her own admittance she could not do the job properly, but is then retained the next day as a 'Special Advisor' by the same Southern Health Authority at £200,000 a year.
Pass the rum Shaun!

Re: So... early morning, unable to sleep, too much rum...
As a paramedic that was based in Sussex and then Surrey before returning to the less stressful sea going life I despair at what is happening to the NHS and especially the ambulance services - both emergency and non emergency services.
Rum on the rocks or a dash of coke cola?

Re: So... early morning, unable to sleep, too much rum...
If there was a light in the freezer food would be easier to find with the temptation to eat too much and become obese therefore adding to the cost of the NHS.
I like my rum with a dash of pep.

The light in the freezer doesnt work or doesn't have one as may defrost the contents. JWS

Re: So... early morning, unable to sleep, too much rum...
Have got one in my freezer...its in the lid and comes on when the lid is lifted, is a godsend when delving into the frozen depths,
Is a Skandilux, Swedish I think, bought it at "Bejams" many years ago still going strong (touch wood) .
Blimey, Just realised it must be at least or over 30 years old as "Bejams" were taken over by "Iceland" in January 1989.

Think they had/have lights in chest freezers as you have to dig deep, never seen a light in uprights as they have pull out drawers and therefore rarely overstowed by much. Rum with just a dash of coke, no ice Shaun, unless it's Pussers then I take it neat

Maybe the light goes OFF when the door opens in the freezer, just like the light goes On in the fridge when the door opens.
So you know which is the Freezer and the Fridge..
Or have I already had my Rum.
Give us another.

Ivan, I too was wondering about the very same thing so perhaps its not about what you know or about who you know but its about what you know about who you know ?
Hope that makes sense.

Re: So... early morning, unable to sleep, too much rum...
We have a fridge with the freezer at the bottom so have to get on your hands and knees to get into it. No light but the light on the top is variable, high or low, bit like high or low beam on a car.
Prefer Gin but will drink Rum or any other medication if that is all there is.

Happy daze John in Oz.
Life is too short to blend in.
