Welcome to the UK, or as it will be known shortly 'The Mad Hatter's Tea Party' as well as our troops being hounded and prosecuted for shooting the enemy, the Taliban is now suing the M O D for holding them as prisoners of war for more than 96 hours. Base commandants have now to release them or turn them over Afghan Authorities after 96 hours, but cannot turn them over unless they get written confirmation that the authorities will not torture them or hold them prisoner for an unreasonable time. Leigh Day the UK Law firm has 1000 Taliban clients waiting to sue the M O D, all on our legal aid. In addition to the foregoing a UK Law firm has won compensation for two moo slim prisoners for being held in solitary confinement in a UK jail for more than 72 hours, they were held in confinement for trying to convert other prisoners to the moo slim faith and inciting them to refuse christian food, they actually have received compensation, one received more compensation than the family of the policement he killed, again all on legal aid.

Legal aid is being denied to British military personnel who are being prosecuted for alleged crimes, (some working undercover) in Northern Ireland during the troubles. Legal aid is being offered to 2000 Kenyan women who alleged they were raped by British soldiers during the Mau mau troubles. Now if you keep watching this space you will soon see WWII veterans being sued for atrocities during that conflict, of course no legal aid will be granted.

It not be too long before Syrian refugees will be suing the UK for not placing lifeboats and rescue vessels in the seas between Turkey and Greece, they of course will be entitled to legal aid, and don't think I'm joking.

Some of you may hasve heard that we now house all 'refugees and illegals' off shore for processing. If found to be genuine they are allowrd in, if not sent back to their country of origin. Recently some women and children were brought to the mainland for medical treatment. The assumption was that after the treatment they would be returned to the off shore camp.

The Greens and a number of radical senators went to the high court saying that as they were here for treatment they should under international human rights law be allowed to stay.

The court said NO, they must be returned to the offshore establishment until all processing is complete.

Maybe you could ask our high court judges to give your guys some advice on this one.

I wonder what would happen in a fire fight the troops gave their weapons to the generals for fear they might get jailed for firing back and hitting someone? we have a marine here doing 10 years for putting the enemy out of his misery but then again he might have been saved to behead one or more of ours that sums our way of thinking? should send some ambulance chasers to the front line no win no fee. jp

It just makes you wonder who are the worst, politicians or lawyers.
As a further comment it would be interesting to know from what ethnic background all these lawyers come from.

From what little information I have been able to glean, not all are Caucasian, I let you draw your own conclusions

The two biggest parasitic lawyers are Leigh Day and somebody called Shiner.
What I would like to know is why a foreign national can claim legal aid from the UK in order to fund their cases.
Interesting both legal companies are under investigation for touring for business in the Middle East, yet our own forces are denied aid.
