refugees
On tonight's news.Canadian children's choir sing traditional welcome to Mohamed.
While I have no problem with that. Does this not conflict with the ban in our Canadian schools on singing our own religious traditional carols?
Regardless of what may be said.
The welcome song to Mohamed is of a religious nature.
Are we going to be seeing double standards in Canada?

Re: refugees
A certain case of double stsndards Den. It has been tried here in Victoria to ban the singing of carols in schools. There was such an outcry the education minister had to issue a notice to say the gov did not agree but it was up to schools to decide what they sing. We do have a couple of areas where 95% of the students are mosquitoes.

No Den, you are going to be seeing the end of Canada as you know it. It will eventually be a Caliphate.

Re: refugees
I had stated in an earlier post that i had not seen any obvious moosies on the island, i have to now confess that while waiting to collect a relative from the ferry, a black letter box came down the gangway, so they have reached the far flung reaches of the Isle of Wight, next stop i suppose a mosque, . I am off to Cuba this afternoon, so will see if they have spread there yet > KT

Re: refugees
When I was at the Royal hospital last week there is a large entrance hall and a local school choir were singing carols by a large Christmas tree. They were girls of about 11 years of age all wearing santa hats,I'm sure all those people who entered enjoyed the singing. Many different nationalities visit the Royal including slims in fact my doctor who is a great guy is one of that faith,I don't think Liverpool will ever have some person trying to play down Christmas by giving it a different name or saying we can't do that in fear of it upsetting some group.
Regards.
