    Default Shopping anyone?

I decided I was in need of some new short sleve shirts for the upcoming winter, it can get a tad cold here at times so the short sleve keeps my upper arms warm. I took her indoors along and we went to one of the usual deprtment stores thta sell both mens and ladies clothing.
I was perusing the merchandise and picked up a shirt asking her, 'Do I like this shirt'? I looked at a couple mare asking again the same question, 'Do I like this shirt'?

A lady passing by gave me the oddest of looks as again picking up another shirt I aked the question whilst she stood there,'Do I like this shirt'? She walked away with the most puzzled look upon her face.

Having found three that according to her indoors I like I made the purchase.

Many years ago I found out that it is better to find out if I like the shirts rather than to be told, 'you are not going out with me wearing that'!

I once made the mistake of saying ,' well you can stay at home'. Thankfully the bruieses went quickly.

No doubt Marian nad Jaycyn have similar problems.
    Happy daze John in Oz.

Life is too short to blend in.

#1, Oh John, How I wish it was shirts!.....My hubby loves to shop, given a spare hour wherever he is in the world he will locate an establishment selling linen trousers.
His penchant for cream or white knows no bounds hence why he has a wardrobe full of them...... NEVER worn!!!!

#2 Keith,, Have you never noticed not only can we read your minds we can complete your sentences

I went to Rivers last Week as they had a sale going,i only really wanted a pair of nice comfy Shoes for walking!
Well what a surprise I got, picked out a nice pair of Brown Casual Shoes, tried them on and on decidibg they were really soft and comfy, looked at the price Tag,to see that they were marked at $69.95 quite reasonable !
So off to the Chechout I go!
The Lady takes the Shoes and scans the Tag!
That will be $18 thank you Sir she says!

    Cricky! what a bargain!
Should have bought half a Dozen!

PS Me and Irene never ever go shopping for clothing together, always on our own, and belive it or not never had had an issue with what each other buys! Well that's just us!

Rivers sure do have some great bargains at times!
    Went home a Happy Chappy!

    Cheers

Not a problem here as the shirts I have are still going strong after over twenty years of wear. The sheriff has finally given up on trying to get me to shop for clothes. My logic is? If they are not worn out then why fecking replace them. As for long strides well anywhere that does not except the wearing of dungaries is not a place for me. I do posses a B D M suit ( Births, Death and Marriages) but not sure what decade I last wore it LOL.
That's the way the mop flops.

My thanks to Brian for this site.

Marian... For Dungarees read Jeans,...Frowned upon years ago, now accepted as the in thing. Must have been seamen were in the forefront of this fashion declaration. Viz the earring in the ear, originally worn by mainly fishermen, now also a fashion mode, ears nose lips belly buttons and other indescribable places. Tattoos wont mention as now considered an essential by all and sundry ( except me ).Cheers John S
